Bearly Read Books’ book club will start June 25th, 2009 at 6:30pm.  We will be starting with a classic with local connections.  Little Women is a novel by Louisa May Alcott(1832-1888).  Written and set in the Alcott Family home, Orchard House, in Concord, MA.  Come in and pick up a copy if you don’t have one and join us.  Refreshments will be served.

 

Bearly Read Books’ book club will meet next on July 30th, 2009at 6:30pm.  We will be discussing The Grapes of Wrath a novel by John Steinbeck.  Written in 1939 it won the Pulitzer Prize in 1940.  Come in and pick up a copy if you don’t have one and join us.  Refreshments will be served and a copy of the first edition will be available for viewing or purchase.
