Pense Nursery - Specializing in Small Fruit Plants

Specializing in Small Fruit and Berry Plants.

Grown in the mountains of North Western Arkansas.

PENSE NURSERY is a family-owned farm that has passed down through three generations. The business was started in the 1950s under the name LOYD PENSE NURSERY. With six sons and two daughters, the business became too complicated to encompass the ideas and varied interests of all the brothers under one ownership. In the late 1970s the business branched into five separate nursery business, with all five companies still strong and growing. Now the third generation is following in the footsteps of the sons of the original company.

The owners of PENSE NURSERY are Philip, his wife Donna and three sons Drew, Jordan and Nicholas Pense. The values of the past have not been forgotten, from the days of watching a big red mule pulling a double shovel to the modern equipment and tractors that exist in society today.

PENSE NURSERY offers over 78 varieties of small fruit plants with 30 plus varieties of juice, seedless and French hybrid wine grapes.

All plants are grown in sandy loam soil for optimum root development. All plants are #1 large grade and state certified.
