This most Japanese sign is seen in both public and private gardens in Japan. The Tatefuda Sign is normally attached to a square post of 2 x 2" or 4 x 4" wood (post not included). The advantage of the Tatefuda Sign, mounted on a post, is that it fits into a variety of terrain situations. Use it on a steep slope, in a taller shrub bed, or among large boulders. Carved with your personal message and constructed of redwood. Tatefuda literally means "sign on a stick." Available in new or recycled wood. This handsome sign is laminated from redwood and is solidly braced on the back, using Japanese construction methods.
