Wallingford Land Trust Publishes Newsletter

The Wallingford Land Trust is publishing its first newsletter in many years. We hope to publish a newsletter semiannually. The December 2007 edition can be found here.
Second Trail Opens on West Dayton Hill
March 17, 2007
Thanks to Boy Scout Graham Page, the West Dayton Hill property now has a second loop trail. Graham, a member of Troop 4 in Wallingford, created the trail as his Eagle Project. The trail is a loop trail starting off the existing Martin's trail. The trail follows along the top of a trap rock ridge. It then descends the ridge heading back along the bottom and next to a cedar swamp. See the West Dayton Hill property page.
Trail to Spruce Glen Waterfall Opens

Thanks to Boy Scout Joe McLaughlin of Troop 4, the Wallingford Land Trust now has a trail to the waterfall at Spruce Glen. Joe made the trail for his Eagle Project. The trail offers a great view of the wonderful little waterfall. See the Orchard and Spruce Glen property page.
Trail on West Dayton Hill Property Opens

Thanks to Boy Scout Chris Martin, the Wallingford Land Trust now has a new trail. Chris made the trail for his Eagle Project. The trail climbs to the top of a trap rock ridge, which is one of the main features of this property. The trail now give the public easy access to this wonderful property.
